What Is Digitizing for Embroidery?
We scan your logo or design that you want embroidered and use it as a background in order to create the stitching patterns. By creating these stitching patterns we can then see how your design should look, we review it and stitch out the design to make sure it is of the best quality, and then based on the way the design stitches out we make any necessary changes to make sure you have a top notch design. After we make the necessary changes to your design we compare it to the original art and client specifications to ensure we've captured the essence of the image and decide what further work is needed to artistically showcase all 3 dimensions that embroidery adds to your piece. We repeat this process until we feel it will meet our highest standards and then show it to you, our client. We then would seek the approval of our client. Once our clients approve the stitch out of the design we begin the order process.

What type of artwork is needed to start this process?
We can create artwork to your specifications whether it's an idea your drawn out on paper or if it’s a company logo, or just a conceptual design based on a theme, sport, event, etc.

Do You Sell Merchandise Not Shown Here?
Yes, we offer an overabundance of embroidery friendly products for you to purchase!  Just ask us if you don’t see what you want!  We’ll find it for you!
You can e-mail us nearly any art you have and we can turn that into a 3D work of art! Save the file as an eps (vector graphic) and don't forget to note any fonts used in the lettering portion of your design. Call us at 815.784.ESII (3744)  if you need more help on formatting questions.

How do we order custom embroidery?

  1. We obtain artwork from you & have the design/logo digitized by our professional digitizers.
  2. We sew out the digitized design, make any necessary changes & re-sew until the highest quality is attained.
  3. We provide you with a sample sew-out for you and wait for your approval.
  4. Set up payment terms, provide an order approval form & obtain your approval.
  5. We provide a sample sew-out of your finished artwork prior to obtaining approval to start the job.
  6. Upon receiving your approval of the sew-out sample, production will begin.

What is your turn around time?
Most orders ship within 3-4 business days from the finalization of the logo. Custom logos require about a week to get the sample stitch-out approved.

How large can my design be?
For caps designs should not be larger than two inches in height and 4.5 inches in width. The sides and rear of the caps can also be sewn. Left chest designs can be as little as 1 inch up to about 4 inches.

What types of items can be embroidered?
Caps, jackets, sweat shirts, sweat pants, denim shirts, golf shirts, towels, duffel bags, infant items, bath towels, robes, tote bags, backpacks, etc.

1.    The brand name, item name, style number, color, size and quantity.
PRICES FOR ITEMS ARE AS LISTED IN CATALOGUE.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE EMBROIDERY OR OTHER METHODS OF CUSTOMIZATION.


2.    If you want embroidered text, choose a font, case and thread color.

On our Embroidery Thread Color Chart find the name of the thread color that is the closest match to the Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors that make up your logo. If you do not know the PMS colors ask your graphic designer or artist. 

There may be some slight variation when comparing ink colors to embroidery thread colors, and not all PMS colors are available in embroidery thread colors.

3.    If you already have a logo or design that you would like embroidered or printed, e-mail us the artwork. All graphics should be High Resolution.  Vector art is the preferred graphic image, formats we accept are .CDR, .PSD, .AI, .EPS, .TIFF, .GIFF, .PNG, we will accept .JPG

The higher the resolution and better the graphic quality, the better the embroidery will be. Please provide us with the approximate dimensions of the logo. If possible, the artwork should be as close to the size that you want it embroidered or printed.

4.    After we review your artwork, we will give you a free estimate of the onetime cost to digitize it, and the estimated cost each time we embroider the design. These costs will depend on the design's size and complexity. 
If you agree to the estimate, payment for the one-time cost to digitize the artwork is required before we proceed and is non-refundable.

5.    After we have your artwork digitized, if you like, we will e-mail you a digital image of an actual stitch out for your approval. We will not proceed with your order until you approve by e-mail or fax. If you do not confirm your order, it will be placed on hold until you approve by e-mail or fax.

6.     If you do not have a logo but would like to create one, you can do so by combining one of our stock embroidery fonts with a stock design.

7.    Since all of our garments are custom, there are no returns. Once items have been embroidered, they CANNOT be returned or exchanged unless for defects in workmanship.
Some things to keep in mind:
•There may be some slight variation when comparing ink color to embroidery thread color, and not all PMS colors are available in embroidery thread colors.

•Not all designs or logos are embroidery friendly because, more often than not, it was designed for print.

•With print, letters can be much smaller and colors can be incorporated into each other more fluidly than with embroidery. Therefore, sometimes modifications must be made to the size and /or layout of lettering, logo, or design to achieve the best results (with your approval of course).

•Sometimes, the smallest text in a design or logo will dictate the size that it can be embroidered.

•The smallest text we can embroider with any legibility is about .25" in height. Depending on the size, some designs, images or logos with intricate detail will need to be reduced in complexity to attain high quality embroidery as the end result.

•For hats, logo or design must fit into an area no bigger than 4.5" wide by 2" in height.

•We DO NOT embroider on any t-shirts or Polo Shirts weighing less than 5.5 ounces!!!
