WE ARE ARMSTRONG

LC Soccer player, Jeremiah Armstrong, was injured over the summer while playing with the team.  Jeremiah went down suddenly in visible pain during a match and had to be carried off the field.  An MRI later revealed that he had torn his ACL and meniscus which will require surgery.  This outcome is particularly frustrating for Jeremiah as he suffered a similar injury in September 2021 that also required surgery and months of rehab.

Jeremiah, a senior at Lawrence Central, is a dynamic player on the field and a well-respected leader among his teammates.

Head Coach Sean Black shares, "Jeremiah is an impact player for the team.  He is anything a coach would want in a player.  Dedicated, Workhorse. Skilled.  Passionate.  Consistent.  A leader."  Black continued, "Even more than being a great player, Jeremiah is a tremendous person.  He has a big heart and he loves the game."

Jeremiah is hopeful he can return yet this season, as he dreams of playing in college.

LC Boys Soccer in partnership with ESII is selling We Are Armstrong shirts to support Jeremiah as he faces this battle yet again.  $5 from each item sold will go will directly benefit Jeremiah to help offset his medical bills.
